Has anyone been down there fishing.i was wondering if the big schools r down there

Fished all morning on Tuesday. Did not mark a fish until the mouth of the South in 20 feet. Then went towards the lighthous and lost them. Found the 20-25 depth and stayed there all the way to the Rhode River. Marked and caught a few smallies, but they were few and far between. Certainly NO SCHOOLS. The water was extremly calm and flat, which may have been the issue. If you know the bottom there, it is very flat and shallow for quite a ways out. Seems like a lot of work to get to 25 feet of water if that's where they are feeding. But you know fishing, someone could be having them jump in their Yak today.
