If you want to see more detail in graph format for each species of fish counted for all years then go to the following site:

      http://dnr2.maryland.gov/fisheries/P...ile-index.aspx

Once there scroll down a ways then click on your favorite fish species.

WHIle I a stoked on the abundance of Rockfish, some of the forage species numbers seem seem widely disparate. Let's hope that this years Rockfish have lots to eat for years to come

While lightly on topic to this thread...

There was an interesting radio show interview on WAMU .... on the
          The Kojo Nnamdi Show

          http://thekojonnamdishow.org/shows/2015-10-14/thousands-of-dead-fish-wash-up-on-virginias-eastern-shore

About the Menhaden fishing.. basically the fish kill in relation to the torn nets in the "big" ships that cull the species for omega 3 and by products.
Specifically from a recent kill off east Virginia.

I was out and about and heard the show... and haven't gone back to re listen...

But basically (on the side of the "big" fishing fleet's opinion).... that the next, and this year's egg production of the
          Menhaden is looking very good.

Of course we are taking the "observation" of the "big" Menhaden fishing fleets.... that might be promoting their own agenda.
And the discussion about torn nets.

Hopefully it's a truthful observation.. and I'll have to go over the interview....
