Bird Whisperer II - Breezy Point (Chesapeake Bay, MD), Oct 14, 2015

I had back pain for 10 days. Driving to CBBT (3.5 hour driving) wasn't a good idea. So I went to my home water, Breezy Point in the Upper Chesapeake Bay (70 min driving), to test if I could drive for an hour and fish for few hours on a kayak.
I expected see some big stripers on FF this time of the year. But once I saw feeding birds, I chased the birds. I caught several small stripers (Two at 20") and a bird. The bird was the 3rd one in my fishing record book. I released the bird safely.

Nice job. I caught a bird last week, the first time catching a bird on a kayak, what a mess... but another safe catch and release. I was later rewarded with 2 keepers.

Yes, it is messy when a big bird is hooked, especially lure with treble hooks and with braided line.
