S. MD Dueling Grounds

I launched @5, got to the Dueling Grounds where the tide was ripping & instantly started pulling in doubles whilst trolling w/2 light,med/light rods. My med-heavy is being repaired. Lots of boats out. Instantly I'm surrounded by the spookmasters. I keep pulling em in & releasing them. Some hit so hard the bail on the reel pops open giving away more line.I pedal to a new spot & the beat goes on & on w/ rodbenders challenging the reputation of my Uglies. Each time the spookmasters follow. I pedal away each time too. The wind kicked up but had no impact. Going back to the launch in the dark I almost couldnt find it. Whilst putting my Outback on top of my car I noticed the wind had disappeared & Miss Mosquito had shown up w/ her friends. I departed & finished my eve @ the Point Lookout Pier where I saw 1monster blue caught( maybe 28-30") & 1 16-18"er too on cut bait... and that's all folks!

Congrats. how was the size? any keepers? i have never landed a keeper at point lookout.

Good report. Love to hear the "Spook-Masters" getting skunked. One day they will get it and get a kayak. The look on their faces is priceless, when they see you pull in fish-after fish.
