We launched today onto the Severn in steady, but light, rain to stay in the lee of the 15-20 forecasted winds. It worked like a charm.
Although deep, fish were lighting up the FF with consistency. They appear to be staging towards deeper water as the season wanes.
Despite their presence on the screen, they were slow to come to the hook. In little over over 4 hours of trolling, I managed only 6 fish - 3 of which were keeper+ including a PB for me at 25.5". Not a monster, but my best in my rookie year.
