The closest places from the Western Shore are Cape Henlopen State Park, Indian River Inlet, Ocean City Inlet, CBBT, or Kiptopeke State Park. Now is the time. MD season closes on Nov. 26. I don't remember VA or DE regs. Depends on water temps, but by New Years inshore waters are usually too chilly to get a good bite. Spring is another good time April/May.
