Fishing started out tough! Launched at 7am to the mirror calm, beautiful waters in the photo. Trolled a mixed pattern that covered everything from the mouth of the Rhode to deeper waters. The first 4 miles was skunked with absolutely no activity from birds to bait to fish. I kept hope and decided to push all in with a sprint to deeper waters in the 35' range. The easy waters made this one of the few times I've been able to get that deep into the bay. The bet paid off with keeper after keeper finally ending with a beastly 26" not happy to see me. Wind picked up to a easy 3-5 mph and I decided to put my head down for the 5 miles back to shore. Persistence made for a great day, even ran into a few Snagged family.
Inspirational Omid! I need to get out there. I've been away for two weeks and all I did was eat. 8lbs! That's the extra weight I brought back with me! Lol
