Weems Creek Pickerel

I played hookie from work on Friday and hit hit Weems Creek. I have never fished this area but armed with the info I gathered on Snaggedline I went in search of Pickerel. I managed about 8 fish in a few hours. All were caught on lures. I returned Sunday afternoon with my son and managed 2 more using a live minnow attached to a spinner. Can't recall ever fishing in December and would not have considered it but for this site. A big thank you to those who shared their knowledge and experience.
