Took my new Outback(Used, but new to me) out for the first time. Launched from the beach side at 6:30 am. Pedaled up past Gibson Island trolling the channel edge looking for fish. Only had one pull down, marked a few fish.
It was beautiful sheet of glass until the wind picked up around 9:00. Battled a head wind and chop on the trip back, thankful to be pedaling, not paddling even though my legs were on fire. Could barely stand when I stepped onto the beach. Stairs are tough this morning.
