Patapsco River Report 4/11/16

I had gotten off of work and I had my yak in the back of my truck still from sunday's excursion. So I said its nice out why not!? I lauched at FT Armistead (first time ever fishing from there with my yak), I didnt want to be around a lot of people fishing inland so I paddled out to the 2nd and 3rd pilland on the Key bridge and just trolled around the drop off where my depth finder was marking a few schoolies. I hooked this very healthy looking striper. It measured just over 18". I thought the area would of been dead due to over fishing but once you get past the point where a rod can cast from land..its fish on!
