  • Severn River

It was a great day for fishing the Severn for white perch. I spent about 3 hours reeling them in, lots of 6-7 inchers but a few nice size ones mixed in. I fished the Narrows in the "weekend no wake zone". I'm glad the rain held off, made it worth taking the day off work.

    Good for you.

Did you use live bait or lures?

Were you in the river or tributaries?

    Thank you,

        Thank you.

The Severn perch have frustrated the heck out of me this year so far.

Maybe next time I'll find them.

The water temps have finally reached the low-mid seventies in the tributaries. It should be good perch fishing from here on until late Oct.
