  • Goodhands Creek

Launched around 6:45 to,a flood tide and south westerly winds. Tried trolling the shorelines, but the grasses were too thick. They kept fouling my jigs and propel peddle. Water clarity was great in 5ft of water-guess due to the abundant grasses. So I headed for Hog Isl. Got into some schoolies for 30-45min. The largest was 17". Not big, but fun. Suddenly the bite stopped, so went into Goodhands creek for some White Perch- landed a couple on chartreuse spinner, not big but nice way to end the morning.

The abundant grasses are really great for the crabs and fish, but play havoc on fishing. Guess you can't have everything!!

    Good trip, John.

    You've reminded me...

I still don't have my Q.A. County launch permit. I need to take care of that soon.
