Since the last couple trips have started out slow I decided to change that. Armed with light rods we downsized our baits to hopefully catch some fish. Well that worked very nicely as we caught several types of catfish. A mudcat (brown)and then Bullhead (yellow) and next was a 12lb Blue. Never found the school of crappie we where looking for or the white perch. Found a yellow perch. Bunch of small bass. Fished for snakeheads since the tide was up and got a nice LGMouth.

Missed two snakeheads also. Tide quickly turned at golden hour and we started fishing poppers and caught 4 more little bass.
It was a very pleasant evening of catching and fishing.
