Launching from Magruders ferry landing

Lately I have fished cuckold creek, Allen's fresh, and the Pax river for WP with great results, but getting tired of cleaning my beetle spins from all the sea nettles after every cast. I have never fished that far up the Patuxent for WP and not sure if it's worth the trip? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Plenty of cats & some w p near there. Free launching for cartoppers, $25 launch permit( special-use permit) for vehicles towing trailers required. Purchase that @ Visitor's Center -Jug Bay
