Fished St Jeromes Creek on Saturday from the kayak and Sunday from a boat.
7/30 Launched around 10am and fished till 1500 through the last of the incoming and through the slack. Marked quite a few fish in the 10fow range but did most of my catching around 5fow. 3.5-4 inch paddletails in bright colors did the damage bringing in 2 specs @14" and 16", around a dozen stripers to 19", a snapper blue and a fat 13" croaker.
7/31 Launched in my buddy's boat on sunday, headed to the target ship looking for cobia, tides were funny and the place was dead not that we really knew what we were doing. Tried a few other spots and then ran back to where I knew there had been fish the day before and followed the same strategy. Between 3 of us we landed 30-40 stripers 19.5 and under, 4 specs 13-16 inches, some more snapper blues and a 5 inch flounder. The evening bite should have been fun but the sun had beat all of us up and we called it a day around 530pm.
