Got a late start and did not hit the water until 10 am. Trolled between the bridges in 20 ft., marking tons of fish at 10-15. I had 2 big hits, one on a Sebile Swim Shad(?) and the other on a Rattle Trap. The second hit pulled my rod out of the flush mount. Had my drag to tight, thank you rod leash. Both fish spit the bit after a few seconds. Prally' to much lure for a smaller fish. Started getting frustrated(and hot) so I decided to target perch. Headed to Weems and started fishing the shady side and under docks back into the Severn using a spinner/jig that slayed the perch last week. NO PERCH!!!! I started catching 12"-16" Striped Bass on my killer perch lure. Whisky, Tango, Foxtrot, it's an upside down world. Still fun but confusing.
