The marine report is now saying 1 ft waves at SPSP, so I'm going to try that tomorrow. I'm thinking that the Severn will be cooled off enough in a few weeks to go back there.
I'll plan on hitting the 20 ft plateau between the park and the bridge. My wife wants some blue fish, so I'll try to catch spot first, then use them for cut-bait. We shall see.
Last time at SPSP, I saw the weirdest thing. In the parking lot, I was tying down my yak and there were lots of people packing up as well (it was closing time). No other Caucasians, except for me.
In the lot, I saw: women in hijab's covered head to foot. Then not far from them was a different ethnic group where a 17+ year old (E.G. fully developed women) had stripped down, buck naked. I mean not a stick of cloths. She was having the sand brushed off by an older lady (I guess her mother). What a difference of cultures on what is appropriate modesty for women--in one place.
