  • Eastern Bay 9-10

Launched from Romancoke Pier at 0630 on the last of the incoming and headed south to bloody point. Water temp was 80 to start and 82 when I got off the water at 1430. Between 2-3 feet of visibility. Marked and caught fish on the breaks but did most of my damage in skinnier water, 4-10 fow. Birds were breaking a few places but mostly over schools of dink rock blowing up ghost minnows. Lots of large 8" plus bunker schools around as well but nothing seemed to be messing with them. Lol, I can put you in the vicinity of a cobia, but I cant seem to catch one from the kayak! The reds are a different story, but cobia elude me.
