I went out crabbing for between two and three hours this afternoon/evening. Crabbing continues to be good. However, there were more smaller crabs and many, many female crabs. They were eating the up the bait very fast. I came home with a 1/2 bushel. I didn't catch the best tide. This was just a crabbing trip of convenience. Just a fun late afternoon.

It also looks as if the perch have moved back into the shallow areas. With the crab bait becoming scant, while letting the line soak, I cast lures around some rip-rap near where I was crabbing. I caught about 25-30 perch and a few under size stripers. So, if you have some good shallow water perch locations, it may be a good bet to give them a try. Most of the shallow water perch locations that I fish have been slow due to the hot weather this summer. Today changed that for me. A couple of the perch were about 12" with quite a few in the 10" range.
Good luck.
