Lucky lady and Piney Point today

I joined Ron today for his first trip in the Outback he won at CBKAA. He was looking good.


He put his first fish in the boat about 30 seconds later. Check that off the list. Wish it was a portent of things to come, but the fish were shy today. We did find a school of specks and caught two each before they ghosted. After that it was a fish here or there but no consistency. I did pick up this 16" blue.


And a nice perch plus a small rock to give me a slam.

Thanks, Kevin- with the St. Mary's County fair this weekend the traffic is going to be tough in the slower lower...so Thursday was my best choice- had one really good quality fish that fought good and ran drag off the reel every time I would get it close...pulled the hooks- so next time...I have the name decals to put on, one 4 inch gear trac for the Carbon Visipole and the Yak Attack Leverloc anchor trolley, so I will stay busy over the weekend- next week I will try again after the county fair is over...
