Nice recap. What is that black box thing on Matt's kayak by the rudder?

Thanks Bob. It's the mount for a "River Stick" shallow water anchor. Similar to a power pole but it's mechanically actuated.

Ah, gotcha. Makes my bottom half of a broken surf rod through the scupper hole look primitive, haha!

And way to go on putting a stinger of all specks together!
