Put in at 10 am and trolled out to the oyster bar just below Ferry Point. Landed numerous small rock (12-14 inches) and several perch, too. Spent a little time casting a Zminnow and bumping it along the bottom when a nice fat 19" Rock hit it. After a nice fight using a light rod and 8 lb test it was landed and let go. No keepers, though.
As an aside, my brother called when I landed and we arranged to go out on his boat in the South River at 2 pm. Just above Beverly Triton near the South River we landed 4 keepers within 45 minutes.
Overall, a good day on the water!
