Clark's Landing

I joined Yak67 this morning at Breton Bay. After an hour without a bite we decamped for Piney Point. We each picked up a fish to avoid the skunk but it was dead there as well. This was not the Rocktober I was looking for so I decided to head to Clark's this afternoon. I saw a school of breakers while I was rigging up but a stink pot spooked them.

I headed out and things were slow until I came across that school. It was impressive on the fish finder.

Unfortunately they were all 10". After tiring of playing with them I trolled around looking for better quality. Found this keeper near some docks and was really worried about getting wrapped on a piling.

A good way to finish the day that started off so slow

Sometimes it pays to to just keep trying. Way to go.

Nice job sticking with it. It is hard to imagine all those fish on the screen only being 10"..... You must have been bummed!
