Tuf, yeah going down friday night and staying with in-laws in rehobeth, fishing sat. & sunday. might have to take a sick day on monday

Weekends at IRI are insane. Go early. By 9 or 10 the powerboats and jet skis are out in force.

Awesome fish! I learned a trick for filleting flounder from an old-timer. Make the first cut across the tail area (caudal peduncle), then stick the point of the knife in along the spine with the blade of the knife facing away from the spine. Slide the knife all the way in, then cut out away from the spine. It works well on both sides of the fish, but you'll need multiple cuts (or a sword) for a fish that size. That's a good problem to have.
