Well I have been fishing a little oyster reef (one that seems to have grown over the past 2 years) that stuck up to about 10ft at the shallowest point but had 15' all around it. We caught croaker on the deep edge, spot on the top and toads everywhere. surprisingly this was far more productive than the nearby deep water areas where I caught them (croakers) the last 2 years.

I thought I was the only one catching those bastards...I landed one that pulled drag last week. I got excited about the possibilities of a monster flounder on the other end...and low and behold...a monster toady. I was using larger hooks so they ended up in the lips...easy removal. The bodies did not seems to have much structure to them...mostly mushy and soft.
