Going fishing this week down south in St. Mary's County- planning on soaking cut bait on fish finder rigs with circle hooks near the deeper channels with a bag of chum hanging over the side- and I am "Not" fishing for catfish although that is a distinct possibility...have not settled on the day yet- don't have a fishing buddy lined up to go with me, but I will have on my drysuit so I feel confident in fishing alone under those circumstances if no one is able or willing to go with me...figure on catch and release for big stripers- even if it were the trophy season- I don't keep any fish over 30 inches...if this interests you- PM me and let's plan a trip- tides look good all week for a launch after 10 am for incoming tide...

Would love to join, but couldn't make that far of a trip down mid week. Might be able to join you not this weekend, but the one after.
