Just a quick update on conditions. The water was considerably muddier today and temp had dropped a couple of degrees but I still managed a pair of 19"s and an 18" along with a few wannabe 10-15" fish. Had to work harder to find them and they were in about a 30 yard area and if you left that spot no bites. Started with Opening Night but switched to chartreuse when the sun got high enough for me to see how murky it was. Did some perching as well. Got a few nice ones but they aren't along the shore in numbers like they will be later in the year. No surprise catch's today.

Are you trolling or casting jigs?

I trolled most of the day for both stripers and perch. I did cast for a while in the spot holding stripers but trolling was more efficient.
