Fished yesterday morning from 6am to 11am. Most fish caught on the mouth of the creek. Lots of vegetation which required you to clean your lure constantly. Total 4 schoolies and 3 decent size perch.

Glad you found some fish at the mouth of Weems.

The vegetation is a temporary problem.

Soon the entire creek will be a good target.

Congratulations. I was there on Monday trying for perch. My lure came up empty. But they couldn't get enough of old fashioned worms on a high low rig.

I should have used a high low rig also for couple more. Did you use nightcrawlers?

Nope, in fact worms were a last minute thought so I just turned up a couple shovels of dirt from the backyard and grabbed about 30 garden worms. Some decent sized, some quite small. I caught about 25 perch and kept 9. I had three double hookups, that was fun.
