Mariner Point Gun Powder River Post December fish kill?

Has anyone fished out of Mariner point this year post the fish kill that happened in December? I went really early in the year but didn't have any luck but it was early in the season. Was just wondering if there is anything left around there and if its worth it to try it again?

Fished there 3 times this year didn't have any luck, skunked all 3 times, threw every lure I own with no luck
