Lapidum ramp closing during week in August

Saw a sign today while launching out of the Lapidum ramp that starting July 31 the area will be closed M-F for dredging. They estimate it will completed late August, knowing how all this stuff usually runs long I hope they have it completed in time for the fall Rockfish season.

It will be nice if they get the area deeper especially the smaller side of the ramp where I launch is barely passable at low tide.

If not then one can always launch at Port Deposit, the Grist Mill or Deer Creek. The latter two I wouldn't with my yak.
