Gary announced before launch yesterday morning that he wanted some perch nuggets for supper...Big Mike and I heard him...not saying we strictly perch fished but I doubled up on every hook on my stringer with big white perch...Gary was using Perch Pounders and mini-crank...I stuck with my mini crank...community fish fry, anyone? Not saying we slayed them (we slayed them), but Gary and Big Mike had all the perch they wanted...oh yeah, I had a mini-slam minus a drum...flounder, striper, speck and our target species of big white perch...
