Creek off the Severn River 9/19/17

Snuck out early this morning. Launched from my favorite private site and trolled 2 rods using 5" swim shads. Hooked up with (4) total between 7:15 and 7:45 this morning. (15, 17, 20, 21) Made it to work by 8:30 am. Hopefully this will continue with more mild weather this week. This on and off Warm and Cool weather seems to be keeping the water temps fluctuating just enough to keep them biting and keep me fishing in shorts and flops.IMG_1246.jpgIMG_1248.jpg

Skinny looking...our SOMD keepers are real "footballs"....thick, fat chunks...congratulations on getting out- with the gusty winds finding sheltered waters that produce fish is a real "find"

I caught some shorts that had some shoulders but yes, any in the 20" range, have been skinny
