Getting slime on the GiftHorse II

I received an amazing gift of a Hobie Outback earlier this week. Such an amazing surprise....now Ron and Bill won't have to wait for me ......as long.

Took it out today on St Jerome's Creek, to get acclimated....I have never even test drive a Hobie thinking owning one was beyond my means, even used.

I won't go into detail, but after a couple hours adjusting, I landed a couple keepers on a popper. Lots of breakers once the tide turned, but bigger fish wanted the top water stuff.

I'm happy, grateful, humbled.....I'm sure a few of you will recognize the boat.

The seat is a Jackson Kayak Elite seat...not a Vantage seat...the Gift Horse II is a 2010 Outback- the Vantage seat wasn’t available on the Outback until 2015...
