Made the drive out to Lewes this morning (leaving the house at 4:15 or so). After driving 25 mph thru several small towns, I hit the water around 7. In the first hour i had 5 flounder. Things slowed down after...

I was only on the water for about 3 1/2 hours. Grand total:

6 flounder
1 weakfish
a handful of undersized seabass
1 toadfish.

all fish caught on a white spro bucktail with 3" yellow mullet gulp. 12 inches above the bucktail was a teaser--looks very much like a sandeel. A few of the fish hit the teaser.

had two that were barely legal. ive never fished the area. I fished the north side underwater jetty. the current at the southern jetty (closest to the launch beach) was pretty strong, although I did catch the weakfish at that jetty.

I did go to the inside, closer to the restaurant areas? and did absolutely nothing.

where am i supposed to be?

There is a nice hole inbetween the underwater jetty and exposed jetty on the northside.
