I got out to shore fish above Fletcher's today.
Darn slow fishing this morning. In 2 hours I caught maybe 6 shad, all hickories.
The water was up a bit from when I fished two weeks ago and still off colored from the weekend rain, with about 12-18" of visibility.
The pathway was very squishy and slippery. I got in some mud skating practice, but at least I didn't fall.
I plan on trying to get the ultra light canoe out this week, just to prove that my shoulder is healing. Probably just a local pond.
