  • Blue Sky, Blue Cats in St Catherine Sound

Fished a new area for me, St Catherine Sound, found an area with strong current and cats came like gang busters, had a triple hook-up resulting in two cats and one lost in first 5 min....that made me switch to just one rod.
After catching more than a dozen, I spent a couple hours exploring the area....even found my future retirement cottage!

Ended the day with a fried catfish feast!

Very Nice. I got 2 blues myself today and a yellow perch just across from Marshall Hall. I was in my bass boat so no pics from the Yak. What did you use for bait?

Looks like a cool place to fish Kevin. I may have to check it out someday since I always like trying different waters on the western and eastern shores of MD. I had a good day at Mattawoman for blue cats on Saturday, though it was slow for many other in that location.

I went Sunday afternoon to Mattawoman searching for shad....got 2. Bill slayed cats using shad darts. Wind was miserable on ride home.
PM me for specific cat spot on St Catherine Sound

Did get a nice evening view though
