  • Patapsco sewage overflow

Not that surprising after all the flooding in that area Sunday.

Without trying to minimize the problem, compared to how many millions of gallons of storm water runoff and detritus flowed down the Patapsco on Sunday night, 654,000 gallons of human waste is only a part of what is headed downstream. The storm drains were overwhelmed, so not surprised the sanitary sewers, especially those that flow down the Patapsco valley, (and are currently being worked on due to the removal of Blode Dam).
The warning to avoid water contact, well, that water wasn't fit for human contact before the spill, because of all of the other crud being washed down.

And now come the inevitable brown trout jokes. Lol

I would think that fishing in the lower Pataspco would be a moot point for several more days anyway, the water all the way down past Key Bridge must resemble chocolate milk.
