Spent a good part of the day fishing from the upper reaches of Marley creek down to the 695 bridge on Curtis creek. Started on the high slack through the outgoing and into the incoming tide. Water temps in the high 70's, dingy water with maybe 2 feet of visibility. Spent most of the time running a beetle spin and small soft plastics looking for perch but also did some trolling through the channels. White perch were scattered and mostly small with an occasional 10 incher in the mix, found a couple 12 inch yellow perch and one 4 inch rockfish. 6-8 feet seemed to be about right for the perch and a clean sand bottom helped. Some bait around in the channels especially as I got closer to 695 with adult bunker in the mix but couldn't get any love from the rockfish.
