After a non productive morning on the Severn, I switched gear and headed across the bridge to do some snakehead hunting. Launched around 230 with two other vehicles already out on the water. Saw the first guy, also in an Ivory/Dune PA like mine. He was across the channel so I didn't pull up or say hello. Finally got to my 'spot' and there was a canoe with ama-outriggers coming out. I was disappointing as you can imagine, but it was a friend and her husband, which i'd met previously at the Potomac Snakehead showdown last fall at Seneca Creek / Violettes Lock (fishing within the causeway). Talking with friends they were using lures majority topwater with no luck. I was using live under bobber with no successfrom 3p-7p.
Pulling out I met up with the guy named Paul in the other Ivory PA14, he had some success in keitech 4" swim shad. Ironically - A mutual friend shared his GoPro video on facebook, so now we are facebook friend as well.
