Had to keep it close to home after spending an epic weather summer Saturday in the office. Early evening headed over to never my first choice. Yes, urban fishing i.e. Blue Plains and the Spoils above WW Bridge. When desperate you don’t think about it… you kind of just go. The striper bite was fair with one to 22” and bunch of shorts while the walleye bite was actually pretty good. (15 walleye) to 25”. By the way the short stripers looked perfectly healthy. The legal looked dreadful (see pic) and similar to what I found down river at St. Clements Island a couple weeks ago. I am definitely seeing more diseased fish now than in past years.
