Homeport Farm Park This Weekend

Looking to fish in an area where I haven't been before, with my new (to me) Hobie Revo 13. Anyone interested in joining me? I can be there early either day, Saturday or Sunday.

I'm also game for going a little further over the BB to the eastern shore, if anyone is up for that. If that's the case, Sunday is better due to BB traffic on Saturdays.

Just a brief thought about two Anne Arundel County launches that require users to obtain a lock combination prior to entry -- Homeport which accesses South River and Spriggs Hill which provides direct entry to the Magothy.

Both sites were provided after negotiation with the surrounding neighborhood residents, some of whom preferred they not be opened to the public. Our use of these launches affirms to county officials the need for access to continue. Further, obtaining the lock combination is a simple process which leaves a record and metric for county officials to determine park usage. In other words, don't let the combination process deter you from using these launches. It's easy to do and the more we use them the more we ensure they will continue to be open to us.
