  • Chicamacomico River Report - 8/19

Roughly 8 hours on the water, the bigger snakehead was caught trolling with a white chatterbait/shad trailer near the lillipads, smaller sneakhead was caught on a bitsy bug jig/zoom trailer near shore in a fry ball, both bass were caught on a horny toad near lillipads.

LOTS of top water action, we lost a couple lures from the blow ups alone, must of been snakehead tearing through our braided line?

No sure why the photos are loading sideways, they appear correct from where I upload them.

            Haha, thank you very much!

It started out as a joke, then I would do it when we would travel between locations, and on our way out of some thick lillipads, sure enough, I thought I had a snag, but it was that beautiful 7.5lb snakehead!

the little snakehead was actually caught on a bitsy bug jig with a zoom trailer...

Curtis also didn't share that he had a net failure and I had to come net the big snakehead. When I got my net under it that thing it launched itself out of the water, almost knocked me off the Titan, and landed in my yak... We've taken to calling it a "snek-missile"...
