Unusual catch 2

I decided to fish from shore this morning as the weather looked iffy. I went to Quiet Waters park and was throwing beetle spins for perch. There was not much current flow and they were not biting as much as usual. However, I got a one hit that I knew wasn't a perch and thought it might be a juvi rockfish. Wonders of wonders, I pull in a foot long flatty!

While I have caught flounder further South in the bay before, I would have never expected to get one in the South River especially with the low salt levels we have been seeing this season.

Wow, what a weird summer.
