Chasing Birds for Stripers (Oct, 4 and 6), Upper Chesapeake Bay

This is a belated report for Oct 4 and 6).
I chased birds for stripers. I caught 20-30 stripers at 10 - 25" per day.

Now I am confused. Reports from the middle bay are pretty bad and it seems the southern bay has been pretty good. Now this looks like a couple of pretty good outings to me to the north. Does Joe just have the touch or what? Could the north and south be good and the middle bad?

I fish where birds are. Many times 1 or 2 birds made difference. I look for the feeding birds not playing birds patiently.
