So now that I have 2 kayaks I was able to get my friend to come fishing with me on the lake.
He has fished the lake plenty of times before, but he had never kayaked.
Went well, I gave him the Coosa because of its stability and he had no issues. He caught a few bass up to 14-15 inches. He also lost a few LMB and crappies near the boat as landing the fish was the most difficult task for him.
I caught around 7-8 bass the biggest being 17 inches and I also caught a 12 inch crappie which was the first I've caught this year fishing in the lake, so thats a good sign. I can usually catch endless amounts of crappie around 12 inches trolling a small yellow curly tail jig, but I caught this one on the crankbait I was using. I want to try and catch some bigger one though. Crappie is the next fish on my "Citation List" for the kayak.
