Water at my launch was flat with little wind. Didn't feel like lugging the Outback down the street and I hadn't done any Spring maintenance on the drive so I opted for my SINK. Had a chain pickerel hit my Rattletrap within 3 minutes of launch just outside Spriggs Pond inlet. Landed anther 20 minutes later at the back of the inlet. Only stayed out 90 minutes but I smiled for the rest of the day!

    Nice to get out and enjoy. That report made me smile too. I like that stripped down fishing machine.

      That's encouraging news on the tidal pickerel.

      I like your kayak approach too. Less is often more in this hobby.
