Ft. Smallwood park

On Thursday for the first time this year I launched my Pro Angler at Ft. Smallwood Park. The water was flat and calm, but no fish. The shore fisherpeople were not doing anything either. But was a nice day to get out and pedal.

what were you fishing for? Just being on the water is worth it. fishing is just a bonus

[On the fly]

Was going for small stripers (14-22" range). They normally drive the bait fish in the shallows where it is warm. Have caught many stripers there in the past.

i was there on tues. no fish. water was perfect for the kayak if i brought it when the wind is coming from the north across the river it can get real rough, they put the launch area in the wrong place saw a guy land a 38"er friday eve from the rocks, wife and i were busy with small 14-20
