Susquehanna Flats Saturday 6/29?

I have family obligation Saturday afternoon, so I can't go too far away. I haven't fished the flats in my kayak yet, and was thinking about giving it a shot. Anything going on up there - anybody here fish it lately? If not, I might do some cold water trout fishing on the Gunpowder - the flows are back up. Wet wading in 51 degree water when it's close to 90 is fun.

I went out of Jean Roberts park Saturday evening and fished a couple hours along the western shore of the river above hdg and just had a bite on a squarebill. Haven't hit the flats yet I've been waiting for the grass to come in and for the dam to get out of spill mode. Hopefully the chocolate milk will be gone for the holiday and the weekend.
