Church Creek Saturday July 6, 2019

I'll be fishing Church Creek and the surrounding area on Saturday if anyone wants to join me. I will be launching from my in-laws' community, but Homeport Farm Park is right there. I haven't checked the tides yet, but I will be there from the morning through late afternoon, so I expect to catch the full tide cycle.

Got out much later than I hoped. Trolled out to the mouth for a little while with no bumps, then when the weather started turning for the worst, I stayed close to the dock. Caught a dozen or so white perch, biggest up to 10", and one small rockfish. Got chased off the water by a massive storm cell that lasted about 45 minutes. If I had time, I would have gone back out, because it cleared up beautifully around 5 pm.
