My favorite recipie for Bluefish- One cedar plank- clean fish remove all dark meat and skin-dry with paper towel- lightly coat with Extra Virgin Olive oil- salt and pepper broil on plank-
throw fish away and eat plank-

In the past, I've only caught 1 Blue worth keeping at a time and I've cut off the head and then threw it in the cooler on ice. This time I just put them directly in the cooler on frozen water bottles. The consistency of the pieces that I had as sashimi was firm and not fishy at all. I'm going to fry up some and slice some for sashimi again for tomorrow night's dinner and I'll report back on the whats for dinner thread. I think it will be good.

well I like 'em every size.. so you enjoy them.
I hear of guys that soak em over night in liquor, cheap vodka and such...I don't drink so who knows if it is true (ha ha) seems expensive. I'll send you a pic of my home made smoker!
